Exfoliating with a lip scrub is good for softening and smoothing lips before applying lipstick, or when your lips are dry and peeling from cold wind or prolonged sun exposure. Avoid using them if your lips have any open cuts, or if they're sunburned.
Why use a lip scrub?
The purpose of using a lip scrub or any other exfoliating agent is to remove dead skin cells that tend to dull the natural glow of the skin. What can you do about chapped lips? At this point, lip balm will not help to remedy the problem unless the dead skin cells are removed first.
How often should I use a lip scrub?
Don't exfoliate more than twice a week. Start with once a week so you avoid irritating your lips. Also, be careful not to scrub too hard
